Calcium and Vitamins

I just got my Beardie today and his light kit came with some Repti-Calcium with D3 by Zoo med. Is this stuff safe to use or should I hold out until I can get some rep cal calcium?

Also, how much do I dose for calcium and multivitamins? I have rep-cal herptivite for a multivitamin. I know calcium should be 5 days a week with his multivitamin 2 days a week, I'm just not sure how mucho should use to dust his crikets.

We've had our dragon a couple months and are newbs to it. We no longer give calcium since we switched to reptiworms. When we used the calcium we just put enough in a bag to dust some crickets. It doesn't take a lot to dust them. We use crickets for multivitamins twice a week. About 15 small-medium each time. I don't think it needs over done.

Yep good and coated ghosts, my Blaze has no interest in improperly dusted crickets or non dusted crickets. :lol: I was unsure at first and went light with just a "shake" of calcium into the bag. But a few times when I did my "Shake & Bake" only some were well coated. He jumped right on the coated ones then looked at me like " Mom these aren't done yet."

Thanks guys, he gobbled them up. If I have left over crikets should I release them, get rid of them, or save them for his next feeding time that day?

Save and feed next feeding if they are still alive. If there are leftovers, feed less crickets next time you dust them
