I was working on some pic's to post, but that might take awhile I have a lot to sort through.

Quick and mini update....in the meantime.

Checkers is finally brumating...crazy weather this year he should be getting ready to wake not sleep.

Ms. Tigg and Lola are also brumating...

Flame is up from brumation and hormonal as can be. :shock:
Blaze is also now up and spazing over the girls...or even his own reflection at this point. I got a video, if it turned out, of him charging Frank because Frank was blocking his view of Piggy. :lol:

Speaking of Miss Piggy this is the update I don't like giving. She is going downhill on me. She's lost nearly 100g in the past year. As well as most her eye sight, and the muscle mass in her legs. She has small seizures or spasms almost daily now. She didn't brumate this year...probably because she knows snuggle times are limited. She still eating and pooping and also gets out of her viv daily.

Itty Bitty is up has been as she's the one that has an off brumation clock. She brumates in the late Summer to late Fall. She's driving the boys nutz! :lol:

Roux...oh, my! She's up and with great attitude. :lol:

Gus only slept solid for about 2 weeks an was up and down for a few days, but he's up and running the house...and when I say running the house...that is exactly what I mean. He thinks he's the boss. :lol: What was I thinking when I had Frank help me make him an escape ramp? :lol:

Zak-n-Wheezie are up they only slept for a short while this year too. They are eating more than I have ever seen them eat before. Must get a new weight on them.

Okay I'm off to do some errands, but will be back with some pic's later. :wink:

I hate the thought of telling Katherine. Miss Piggy has been her favorite dragon all along.
As long as she is eating and pooping there is hope. Barb- let her know she is loved. :love10: :love5: If love alone can keep them going, your crew should live forever. We all know you give them so much more love and care than most.

Thank-you ladies I have been putting off Miss Piggy updates for sometime now...I keep hoping I'd not have have to give a sad one.
I'm not in anyway throwing in the towel on her. I'm only trying to prepare myself. She such a sweetheart! She's very special to me. She's only the second beardie that I have had live to 10 or 10+ years. Though I have had her more of her life than I did Rocky.
She had a good day today..no spasms or seizures.

Hey Barb, I'm fairly new here but having followed many of your postings. Your bunch is just amazing and you can
tell by your posts they are well cared for. I love all your photos. I'm sending prayers for Miss Piggy. Very happy
to see she was without seizures today. My dog suffers from them and it is just heartbreaking each time to watch and hold tight
hoping it wont be his last breath. Thinking of you as well.

Hi Barbara, I know what you mean about blankets pushed into the opening of hides, that's what Lonzo does. Didi will sleep in his hide with his back to the opening. Rubio sleeps in his bed, which is on top of his hide. He'll stay there the whole winter, too.

So you haven't said what happened with Roux, I know nothing serious but still, what happened?

Leo's still up watching TV every day but today he ate, 1 worm & 2 roaches. He's not sure what to think of the roaches, guess they're kind of chewy, it took him a long time to chew them up, but at least he ate them. I think he's just given up on brumation this year. He's lazy, not moving around much, but still, up every am.

Only one of mine prefers not to use one and one doesn't like it over her head.

Okay Deb, as for my big scare yesterday....it was Roux. :roll:
Thank goodness Frank was in the bedroom at the time. He looked over and Roux was ripping and taring at her fake silk ivy plant.
Frank thought she'd eating the leaf she pulled off, but when I looked she had it lodged in her throat. So as I wedged her mouth open using my fingers(surprisingly I didn't bleed) Frank pulled it out slowly with the tweezers. God knows how many times she may have already done this. I told everyone she was a glutten! See, oddly she had just eaten shortly before this.
She's fine, doesn't seem to have any irritations from it. Needless to say Roux now has a very bare looking viv. Brat! Make me take her pretties away.
