Building rocks and things to climb on...

If I wanted to use rocks from outside in my beardies viv, do I just boil them for ~20min to clean them, or should I scrub them with bleach or what??

and if I were to use rocks from outside in my beardies viv, what is a good adhesive to use on the rocks so that they will stay stuck together and not fall?? Im looking for an adhesive that is safe for the beardie...or should I just find big enough rocks so that I dont have to stack them...


I want something so that my beardie can get closer to his basking light...my viv 36" long, 16" wide and 20" tall...I think it is a 40gal breeder tank, thats why its soo tall

i say clean them very well with water.. boil could be good.. i would avoid blech in case the beardies lick them...

you can heat them, boil them, soak them in vinegar/water or bleach/water. soaking in bleach isn't going to hurt your bd as long as you use common sense and rinse thoroughly. pretend you are soaking a glass that you are going to drink from with bleach, then rinse it until YOU would feel safe drinking from it. If you follow this thought when cleaning, your bd should be fine
