Hello,
Is it possible for a beardie to go into a partial brumation?
My beardie is 2 years old - last year he did the same thing.
He will eat minimal, some veggies sometimes, a worm or 2 once in awhile.
He continues to bask but is sluggish - some days will be very active.
Took him to the vet a couple of weeks ago and the doctor said he looked alright, fat pads are small, they did a float on him and nothing showed up so that's good!
When he was younger he fought parasites 2x so I feel it affected his growth.
The UVB light in his tank (reptisun 10.0) was just changed this month.
Here are some pictures of him, does he look underweight?
The most he has weighed is 346g (Jan 19 2016)
The least he has weighed is 309g (Dec 17 2014)
He currently weighs 329g
And is 18" long
This was him last year around this weird brumation....
And this was him once he fattened up a bit after last years brumation...
