First just a quick question, is it normal for dragons to brumate in the middle of summer? I'm just wondering cause my dragon hasn't really come out of his cave for the past week or two. He still looks like hes in perfect condition, looks like hes got a good weight, still eats little bits here and there etc. I just read that brumation is like hibernation, i just find it weird that its the middle of summer.
And now for the bad part, my other beardie has an infection in her mouth. We went to see a veterinarian, he gave us oral medication for 10 days and said to come back if she needed more, so we went back for a second set and it still doesn't look like its getting better. Her mouth is so swollen that when she opens her mouth you cant see her tongue. Shes had this for a couple months now, shes still kept eating, but shes starting to slow down a bit. It's difficult for her to eat, nothing sticks to her tongue and its hard for her to chew, im going to schedule another appointment this week, but i thought i could ask here to see if anyone has any ideas what it ould be or how to help. I'm really worried :?
Thanks
