Brumating, Sick or Dramatic?

My 11 month old female, Toast, is doing me a frighten.

I believe she has been brumating for a couple of weeks. She hasn't been eating as much as she usually does and has been hiding underneath things on the cold side of her enclosure. When I take her out she's still alert and active. Twice now, I've caught her sitting her enclosure with a completely black beard - she isn't puffed up at all, though. The first time, I took her out and noticed there was a piece of cat hair in her eye. After I removed the hair, her beard was back to normal within two minutes. I assumed the hair was making her uncomfortable and caused her to black beard. The last time I couldn't find anything wrong, but again she was back to normal within two minutes. Could it have been that she just wanted out? Could it be related to her (possible?) brumation? Or could there be something more serious going on that called for a visit to the vet?

The cat hair could of been the irritation ---- what are her basking temps and how are you taking them? NO stick ons they are inaccurate --- UVB brand and bulb coil or tube and where in the tank is it? Bad lighting and temps will cause brumation behavior

Her temperature in her basking spot sits around the 95-100 range (as recommended by her vet), and is measured by an infrared thermometer. The cool side of her tank ranges from 70-85, depending on whether it's underneath a hide or out in the open. Her cage was built from melamine wood and is the equivalent size of a 120 gal tank. It's heated by 250 watts of heat bulb (one 150, and one 100) during the day and a ceramic heat emitter at night (currently using a 60 watt as that's all they had in stock, but now that it's gotten much colder outside I'm thinking of ordering a higher wattage). UVB is a 24 inch reptisun 10.0 bulb. Humidity sits around 35.

Where is the UVB? And the distance from basking decor? The wattage seems a little high for basking temps --- are you getting the temp w/ just a IR gun or do you also have a digital thermometer probe? The reason I am asking is sometimes IR guns do not read correctly off certain materials --- like hammocks for instance

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
