Breeding crickets!

hi, im wondering does anyone have their own cricket colony of their own? I plan on starting my own colony of crickets instead of roaches cause my mom doesnt like them. if anyone has got some advise that they would like to share it would be very helpful. im planning them like this.

• -i got2,10 gallon tanks

• -i got some oraganic soil

• -starting out with 10 fully grown female crickets

• -lamp for heat.(house lamp)

• -a heat pad to keep the crixs eggs warm

• -I use calcuim cricket quencher for water.

• -i use dog food (iams)for the crickets protein

• -egg cartens for place to hide
