Boy or Girl?

I’m struggling to tell if Stew is a boy or girl.. couldn’t tell with the flashlight and he was getting mad while trying. This is the best picture I have if anyone can tell from it. I’m trying to find out because he’s sleeping a lot and has been for 3 weeks. He should be 8-10 months old so I thought brumation would be too early so maybe it was egg laying? Thanks for the help!

Looks male to me, based on the photo. It's not as easy to tell as with some others though. The sleepy behavior isn't necessarily a problem. Keep an eye on his weight over time to make sure that isn't dropping significantly. They do go through phases in which they are less active, but they don't all go into a full brumation phase.
