Bowen'z &Aednat'z and opps O.O thread

I've had Bowen about a month and in that time he's shed bout three times since i got him. hes slowly getting used to me . i replaced his substrate with tiles yesterday and then had to play chase the lizard cause he jumped out of my hands and under the futon and went for my bed before i caught him.Luckily my cats weren't upstairs at the time cause they would love to have him as a snack and they stake out his tank now. So cat duty is one i stay on. i gave Bowen his first bath yesterday when i came home from sparing swore all over and had to give him a bath. I new to the site so i would but pictures on but i don't know how on the site. bye for now

Bowen gave me a hard time today he didn't want to get the collard greens just the crickets though he did eat some of the greens. and i was touching and petting him threw out the day though he wasn't to happy with me but so i had to leave him alone for a bit but its now 10 at night and him and i finally get to have the first snuggle at first he didnt want to but found a comfy spot on the side of my belly. it feels odd when he opens his mouth and smacks his lips. he is to cute im glad hes tursting me enough for him to be this comfy with me i must thank the ones who have gave me advice on this website!

i dont have a very good picture of him bearding me but he does it alot though he cant black beard me yet.
and now bath time!!! which he had two hours ago he likes swimming but right now i think its to get away from me >.<

just after when i pulled him out of the bath he gave me a very serious look which he has all the time

and that's what are new he doesnt like me all to much still but im building his trust very slowly

so even though i dont get much talking on this it helps me with seeing Bowen's progress with me .^.^ today he ate half a cherry and a blackberry from yesterday he had a berry face it was soo cute and funny. i tired crickets and he didnt want them so im going to have to try later or tomorrow. he had a bath but not for long cause there wasnt any hot water so that was a no go. though after i tried to have him just sit with me yup nope that wasnt going to happy he wanted to jump off my bed i did get to kind of measure him to day hes just bout or more (idk he would stop moveing) 11.5 inches long and has a belly on him hes a glutton. its funny he didnt want the collad greens not much anyways i think he liked the berries to much though we got to snuggle last night till my kitty tsukiko came into the room so bout two hours of snuggle which im very happy bout i cant wait till he gets bigger or when i beardie prove my room and find a way to keep my cats out so he can run around

Ok i post alot in a day on Bowen im just a good slave.anyways he sleeps in the weirdest way when he snuggles.
he stands on his back feet and rest his head on me and goes to sleep. its to funny cause its like hes asleep standing :lol: :?

Clovis will do that too! Wish he'd eat salads like Bowen does. I am currently being a mean slave and withholding bugs until he eats his salad (he is a yearish old so he is supposed to be eating way more salad than bugs).

wat u feeding him in his salad bowen used to eat lettuce but after reading i saw collard greens were better so he seems to like that and blackberries which is more of a treat for him. just try a few things here and there mine still a baby i think though he loves his bugs he didnt want them today though i think hes full from the half cheery and blackberry he ate and collard greens. hehe keep at it and im sure Clovis will eat up

He gets mustard and turnip greens, a squash, and another veggie or a fruit. I have to use frozen fruits and veggies and thaw them because fresh ones go bad too quickly. I decided to give him at least three different things in his salad every day for variety, but thus far he has not been appreciative.

id go with fresh to keep things that are in baggies like collard greens when you open it put a few ice cubes and stick in in the draw or the fridge then when it melt you just dump the water out. cause to me things the thaw are mushy and arent the best in taste though thats just a personal thing -shrug-

He gets fresh greens but the other stuff is frozen. I think fresh tastes better too, but when I get fresh I end up throwing most of it away.
