Blondie's Pringles ~ Coco, Lexi, Crash & Psycho

So the decision was completely up to Carl, because Xena was his babygirl, and I know no-one else in the world can ever replace her... but he has always wanted to raise a baby dragon, seeing as how 3 of our 4 are rescues, and adults when we took them in...

So darn if they aren't totally like, well as fresnowitte says, P-R-I-N-G-L-E-S-!

So Carl picked out his baby... it'll take a little while to name her, we have to see her personality. Welcome into our hearts, little one... almost 14 inches / 166 grams / crazy hyper personality so far ...

As soon as we got her out of the packaging, she made a bee-line for my son's leg & pancaked out, so CJ got the first real snuggles, he's my little seatwarmer:

Barbara was worrying about finding this little guy a special home, and Carl fell in love with him/her too... so he's our "little guy/gal"... Quasi now looks huge, and Crash looks like Godzilla compared to these two!

So meet little guy / 60 grams / 11 inches ... so laid back, just watches everything going on, and eats and eats and eats (hand-fed salad today :mrgreen: )

Just a little stress going from Cali to Ohio...

:shock: He's only 11 years old?! Where does such a young kid learn to be so mean from? Sheesh!
I hope the judge will grant everything you filed for, especially the removing him from CJ's school part. I shudder to tgink what'd happen if he was released back into the school and found out who ratted him out.

Kuddos to CJ for going back to school on Thursday. I'm really proud of him for speaking up. Hope the bruises and swelling will fade soon.

Hi Dawn,

I can't believe how rough and tough kids are getting. I remember hearing about kids getting in fights at the high school when I was younger, but middle and elementary aged kids?! That's just wrong. I'm proud of CJ too! It's hard to go back to school after being beat up and hold your head high. You're doing a great job at encouraging him to do what's right. Way to go!!

On a side note - I got my blankets the week before last. I'm not sure I told you. But they are amazing! Thank you so much!!

can dragons have ground turkey? (Cooked, of course)... they were looking @ me beggingly when I made my killer meatballs today. Gina, you need that blini recipe yet? My family ate them all, and the neighbors party went well, blini was gone within about 10 minutes... we made 99 pieces!

I'm so sorry to hear about CJ getting jumped.
Richard got jumped on Halloween, but of course it's hard to identify 6 kids in black hoodies with ghost masks on.
Glad you guys were able to find the attacker.
I hate bullies! I guess they come in all sizes huh? 11 Good Lord! :roll:

Update on CJ: We got a letter from the courts, the little hoodlum has a preliminary hearing on December 1st ~ I will be there will bells on, pics of Cj's injuries, and a bill for his new glasses (appt. tomorrow) ... I am kinda holding out hope that they scheduled him AFTER his birthday so I can get victim's assistance to go ahead and pay for his glasses, and the kid will have to work it off thru community service. That is the program that they have to be 12 to utilize for VA.

BUT, not sure if the judge will be going by the attack date? Or sentencing date. We'll see. I refused to sign the papers to try and get VA now, just in case the judge says he doesn't qualify for the program. By signing up for it in writing, I am waiving my right to go after his parents in a civil suit for the costs.

No word yet on the final of whether the bully is removed from our school and sent to his home district. Privacy laws are a little ridiculous sometimes!

Coco is starting yet another shed. Geez, she just finished a whole body shed! and Lexi has her nose, tail joint and both back paws going again... I give up, I'm buried in shed! Crash and Psycho are just chillin', sleeping more than 1/2 the days away... well, unless we get the cantaloupe out... Crashie will chase me for the cantaloupe, its his absolute fave. Psycho is eating better lately, we're thinking its the extra calcium and Serrapeptase we're giving her. But I won't complain about her bulking up a smidge if she does go down for awhile.

Off to get my kitchen in order, and make more Mario Mushrooms (my FB friends will understand that!) ~ I have given a go at using up all my weird little yarn scraps by making those 3-d amigurumi plushies... My kids love pokemon and Mario * Luigi... so I have made my first pokemon (Jigglypuff) and a couple of the Mario Bros. mushrooms. Too cute! I may attempt a shroom in the little crochet "thread" to make it into a necklace. Not sure if my arthritis can handle it yet.

How in the world does this fall under privacy laws?! As the victim's parents, wouldn't you automatically be allowed to know whether this kid is returning to the school or not? I mean, they don't have to tell you what school he was moved to, if he was moved at all. Sheesh!

OMG! How did I miss all this! This is one of the reasons I no longer teach AND I homeschool. When I was in Germany I worked at the Base school. I had to pull lunch duty with the Jr High kids while mine were eating. I was surrounded by huge 8thgrade boys, they kicked and punched me and yanked my braid so bad that I wound up in the ER. Some brave kids finally came forward with names and they were sent back State side. My principal told the Jr High principal that her people would no longer watch his monsters.

Too bad CJ's school isn't the same way.Of course now days the criminal has more rights than the victum. I think that kid should be removed from all schools. If allowed back in, he will find a new victum. The whole world has gone crazy. Tell CJ I am proud of him for standing stronge through all this. He is a great kid.

Was the hearing today? I lost track of what day I'm living in.

We showed up, but he nor his parents showed... so, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest again, and we are awaiting a new hearing date. CJ is upset that its not over... but we'll deal with that. He has learned a lot of little life lessons with this whole ordeal.

We did submit the receipt for his new glasses, and I even included the receipt for the pictures of CJs injuries... why not? I wouldn't have had to print those icky pics if this kid didn't attack my son! Still awaiting word on whether we'll get reimbursed. The kid turned 12 a couple weeks ago, so he should qualify for the work crew (chain gang) so we can get paid back.

Unfortunately there is no amount of $$ that will restore trust.

Btw I did finally get my etsy store up & running... its called "kre8ivLizard" and I just listed some of my chocolate delights today, gotta torture Goonie!!!

Hope that the judge is able and willing to get you reimbursement for the added expenses whenever the case does get heard.

I'm sure that CJ did learn a few of life's little lessons from all this unnecessary bologna....still doesn't make it any easier as you/mom and he are going through it only when you look back. Best wishes for justice!
