Yesterday, I noticed that Sam was looking kinda fat/bloated. The more I watched her, it seemed like she was breathing kinda hard. She was sitting in the bottom of her viv with her head up. Every once in a while she would open her mouth. She would also make this weird clicking noise. Her colors were kind of dark and grayish. I am worrying because this is what she was doing when I got her. It seemed to clear up on its own then, but I am worried.

I thought maybe she was too warm, so I gave her a bath. I decided to clean out her viv while she was in the bath. She had only been in the bath for like a minute and she poops. It was greenish in color and looked like there was some undigested salad in there. I am not real sure though, since it was diluted by the water. All of her other poos have been normal in size, frequency, and color. So, am I just noticing this because it was diluted with the water?

My question is this, she has not been interested in her crix, so I have been giving her small meal worms, (not very many) and wax worms(these have been the main source of protein for like the last week). I have been offering Romaine (only veg or fruit she will eat) and have been dusting her stuff with flukers calcium with D3 dust once a day.

I am guessing her age to be about 4 months old. She is approx. 12 inches in length. Weight, I am not too sure about, but she is beefy.

Her setup is as follows:
UV Light: Reptisun 10.0 24inch
Basking bulb: 100 watt
40 gal breeder
Temps are: 95-105 in basking spot and 75-85 cool side of tank.

When I first got her, she had a fecal done then and treated with Panacur even though her stool came back neg for parasites. I am so worried about her! :(

Well the clicking noise are signs of an upper respiratory infection. That needs to be addressed with meds at the Vet. I recommend not feeding the meal worms at all because the are hard for them to digest. Also the wax worms are more fattier then protein so they should be used as a treat. Try silk, or even horn worms or roaches. Also here is a better list to feed from. http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.com/Nutrition.html . Any more questions just ask. For food being undigested the temps could be to cool. How are you measuring the temps?

I am using a digital therm with a probe to measure the temps.

I am worried about a resp infection so I plan to take her to the vet. I am afraid that they will want to treat with Baytril again, though. And I know how hard baytril can be on their systems. Any other suggestions I can ask the vet about, med wise?

I know that the wax worms are fatty, but I haven't been able to get her to eat anything else right now. I need to get some other things ordered since she isn't eating crix anymore.

Just so I know, how many wax worms, phoenix worms, etc. should I feed at a time? I currently feed her 2-3 times a day. And I have only been giving her 8-10 wax worms a meal for right now. Am I feeding her too much/too little? :?:

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
