So recently I had the idea of cutting up an old sock into a square "blanket" for my beardie. I was juster wondering if this a good or bad idea cause it came to mind that he could get stuck on it. Should I use a different material or change how it's set up like cutting it into squares for him.

Hi there, some people use pieces of fleece as long as they are large enough that a curious beardie wouldn't try to eat them . And yes, just be sure that whatever you use it's nothing that could snag the claws.

I had a super soft fleece baby blanket that I cut up just for this. Part of it is in his carrier, a smaller piece is on the floor in his cool side cave and there's one in his sleeping corner since he loves to sleep on it.

I made some fleece blankets for my dragon and he always seems to like sleeping with them. I even found the perfect bed for him! He's quite spoiled.
