Blanket to sleep

Do u guys give your babies and adults something soft to sleep on. If so what. Pic's are a + I need ideas I have two 8 month old's and a yr old male. Tonight I covered my babies up they are sleeping on blankets and I folded the remaining blanket on them just curious to see what u use if anything and how it looks.

I actually made some hammocks out of baby recieving blankets and then with the rest I made little blankets that I cover my beardies up with at night when they sleep in the hammocks it also makes them have a better sleep if my hubby is up watching tv because then the light from the tv doesnt bug them.
The blankets are white with blue in them and I have pink one for my female lol

Loki has a simple bath towel that she really likes. She sleeps on it almost every night. It's cute

I do a beardie burrito with my baby, after he falls a sleep on my hand I put his binkie down, put him on it and cover him up, he sleeps like that all night long.

The Baby Blanket Hammock say in all the time and then once a week they get washed as my beardies poop in the tub for bath days.
The blankie that I cover them with at night Strikers comes off when I leave for work in the morning as its dark still other wise he wouldnt come out from underneath it all day.
Athena as soon as its daylight she pulls hers off. Then its taken out of the viv by me or hubby

I use a square of polar fleece, which is good because there's no loops for his toes to get caught on. It's in the corner of his viv, he usually covers himself up at night after dinner.

I have two pieces of fleece blankets under the rock platform on either side of the tank. He doesn't usually go there himself but if I put him on them he'll sleep on them.

My kids all have beds for daytime lounging but bed time is 7-8 pm.

I take Lagu out first, flick off his lights, wrap him up in a fleece pet sized blankey, in a beardie burrito and snuggle him for 15-20 minutes and rub his back until he falls asleep, then I tuck him into his bed with his head on his pillow. To make a beardie burrito I just lay him in the middle fold one edge over, then fold a triangle back so his head is exposed then the same with the other side.

Once he's tucked in I get Mika out and fold her blankey into a square, I lift up the top layer of blankey and poke her in the middle then fold the two halves under her, she doesn't like having her head exposed, she prefers a tunnel. Then she wiggles 'till she's comfy and I rub her back through the blankey until she's asleep. Then I put her in the corner of her tank under Sgt. Pepper's tank.

Lil' Sgt. Pepper has tiny blankets I cut out of the material I made his and Lagu's beds and pillows out of, the fleece blankeys are way too big for him. He likes to be burrito'd like lagu, then when he's asleep I put him in his bed just like Lagu.

I wake them up at 7 am in the same order. Lagu just needs his lights flicked on and a quick kiss, he wakes up on his own and gets out of bed. Mika, I take out to cuddle until her tank heats up, Sgt. Pepper I also take out and give a little cuddle and then put him on his bunbun while his tank heats up.

When I tell people my beardies love to cuddle they don't believe me, but Lagu would stay up all night without his bedtime snuggles!

Lagu Mika and Sgt Pepper sound very lucky to have such a great owner!
I would love to see pics I went out and bought Rock'O a pet ped today I will post picks of it soon I need to get Torch and JuJu one but they didnt have the colors I wanted :lol:

Wow great post! Love the pics I never thought of giving mine a blankie I love the hammock idea but afraid his toe nails would get stuck! What about a stuff animal I saw someone had that!! ps I tried the buritto omg he couldn't get out fast enough lol

My dragons never really got into burritos. One of mine has a stuffed animal, but she hasn't really slept on it yet. But she does seem to enjoy sitting on it for a time during the day. It's rather funny how it worked out. I put it on the cool end because I thought she might like to sleep on it. But she ended up shoving it in the middle of the tank. Coincidently (or perhaps not), it ended up directly under her uv light. At that point she started sitting on it. so it kinda became her moderate range basking spot.

I got mine some hammocks, but they don't use them as intended. They sit or sleep under them. I guess they appreciate the shade or something, IDK. :lol:

With the hammocks that I made they are out of baby recieving blankies no loops or anything and they dont get caught. The blankets are 100% cotton. What I also did was use the zoomed hammock underneath blankie hammock on top and 3m commander sticky tape tape so that everything stays in place those suction cups always fell off this works so much better.

Mellu, I love your setup for your babies and all the things you do with them. Beardies definately like to be cuddled and held. Zeppy always put up a fuss when he was put back in his tank and Xena is starting to do the same.
