Black tip tail

Is this tail rot, stress, shedding changes or combo?
Friend's 3month old going thru first shed.
Don't know if shedding is cutting circulation off. Told him to soak in warm water and use soft toothbrush to brush the tail.
No expert... need opinion from knowledge BD owner.

It does look like a potential problem. Soaking it in a Betadine/water mix may help but it if it turns out to be tail rot may end up needing to be amputated up a little ways past the dark area. Have it seen by a reptile vet if it doesn't get better soon.

Thanks I'll let him know about soaking. Is it 50/50 mixture?

Generally it's 1part Betadine , 10 parts water but you can make it a little stronger.
