Hi all, I was just wondering if the BSF is safe to feed my Beardies? I got my tub of Phoenix worms this morning and the guy said that if they turn to flies you can still feed them to my dragons. Is this true?

I also got teeny tiny silkworms babies, I was wondering if there are any special conditions to let them grow fast?

Thank you

Yes, the flies are ok to feed.

Your silkworms will grow faster between 82 and 86 degrees, and with a constant supply of fresh food.

Agreed. They are safe to eat.

However, feed them off asap. BSF do not feed. They mature to adults to breed and die. So the longer you wait, the more they burn off their nutrients.

I can't wait to make my next order of Phoenix Worms. I plan to get large this time and grow a few to adults for the show.

Thanks everyone! Luckily none of them have turned yet, but at the rate my monsters are eating, there won't be time for that.
