I've just recently started to really notice these few black, wrinkly (dead-like?) scales on Riza's side. I can't recall when I first noticed them, maybe a month or two ago?
And then, of course, ( I don't know how noticeable it is in the pictures ), she's a little bruised from being gravid. And if she looks a bit thin in the pictures, it's because she had just laid her eggs. The black spots really stood out to me afterwards when I was soaking her 'cause she's so pale.
Any clue what the spots are? Do I need to worry? Should I make a vet appointment? She hasn't been in a few years because she's been fine. I know you should get a fecal every year, but I'm just afraid they're going to tell me she still has high levels of coccidia. We treated her for it back in 2011 when we first got her. It cleared up and she got better, but she still had high levels, despite normal behaviour and non-smelly poop.
She's been acting fine (as fine as a gravid Dragon acts), and hasn't been eating much lately (again, because of being gravid). And her poop's been pretty normal.
She's on tiles with a Repitsun UVB (I believe it's a 10.0?), and her basking heat I've been trying to keep around 100.
She normally eats mustard greens with acorn squash and then the occasional superworms with a dubia or two.
And I would venture to say she's around five years old. I've had her since the beginning of 2011 and the person at the pet store we rescued her from said she was probably a few years old.
If the pictures aren't showing, they can be seen here: http://sadict.deviantart.com/gallery/?catpath=scraps They're the first four pictures.
