BIG cyber hugs to Frances!

I couldn't figure out where to post this, so since I want to send sympathy to Frances, I will post here. I got a message from Frances, slavetoIzzy, this morning with very sad news that her Izzy passed away in his sleep. She is heart broken, and frankly, so am I. When I first joined bd.org because I had a very sick rescue beardie, my first to deal with, Frances and Izzy were among the first members to really welcome me. We had a blast, creating a flirtation and love story between that beardie, Rose, and Izzy, and after Rose died, Izzy developed a crush on my Sandy.

Frances, when you feel better and read this, please take to heart that you have been one of the most supportive people in my world over the past few years, and making up the beardie love stories and antics has been great fun. You have also been a terrific beardie Mom, and I hope you will eventually get another little buddy to dote on. I know that is not something that you want to think about now, but Izzy had the BEST life with you and he will be very missed!

Oh Frances, I'm so sorry to hear about Izzy, I read the Memorial. It is even more devastating when they only show sickness for such a short time, then they are gone. Our thoughts are with you, you have been a wonderful and helpful person here. You took great care of Izzy, he knew he was extremely loved. We are here for you, hope you stay around the forum to continue to give support to other beardie owners.

Someday, you will find another beardie that needs your love, Izzy will lead you to it. This beardie won't ever replace him but will help to fill a little empty spot in your heart.

Frances, I am so sorry. Words cannot even begin to describe how sad and empty I feel right now.
I missed those funny Izzy stories and had wondered where you'd been . . . now I know.

Though this wouldn't lessen the aches and pains in your heart, you did provide Izzy with a great home and lots of love, and you have tons of memories of happy times together.
