Best way to prepare food (squashes peppers etc)

Hey guys my girls love butternut squash so I was thinking I could try a little yellow and summer squash and maybe even some bright bell peppers. My only issue is that yellow or summer squash are soft and have seeds in them same with bell peppers what would be the proper way to prepare them safely? I'm not sure my beardies will go for the crunchy bell peppers but if I can cut them up in smaller sizes I can give it a shot.

Note: I shave/peel the butternut squash so it's supper thin and I put it on top of the greens I give 2 times a day

I dunno about the squash, but the peppers 🌶 are easy. I just cut off both ends, Split them and use my thumb to rake the seeds out. I rinse any leftovers out. I just cut them up from there.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
