Behavior

I just have a question about behavior and what might be going on. I've been sitting here watching gone so I videotaped it but I have no way to upload it to the site because of the file size. He is running back and forth at the back of the cage (not the front that he can see things) getting on his rocks jumping and scratching the walls knocked the thermometer off the cage. He has been doing this for a few days. He jumps on anything on his cage jumps keep scratching the glass jumps on another thing and try to get up as far as the cage that he can. Does he just want out of the cage or is this a sign of something else I know he is starting to shed on his tail butt I want to see how jumping on the glass would help that. I'm thinking he just wants out. He also pooped somewhere in his cage he never did before he always poops off his one walk onto the paper towels we have this time he did it by his water dish on the tile

Update: Gonzo also has not ate for about 4 days and looks very tired all the time (weird how you can tell their emotions) He/she has been pooping though. I have been giving him/her regular baths. The tail has shed maybe a little around the eyes. I was thinking if more shed doesn't show up and the behavior doesn't change that I will schedule a vet visit. Any suggestions?

How old + what size is he, and are positive of the gender ? Young healthy dragons of either sex can go through very restless phases, it's not that uncommon. Sometimes they do just want to get out and do some running. Have there been any changes to the tank or any new creatures in his view ? Of course you need to be sure the temps. are O.K,too esp. not too hot.

Thanks for the response AHBD. We spoke before. Temp are good not sure of sex yet but I posted a pic and thought maybe girl or male not quite developed yet.but habit of just saying he. Gonzo is about 7 months in the same setup since may. He's still running about 17 inch long and on 9/7 was 14 ounces. We have been getting Gonzo out more so I thought maybe he just wanted out
