Hey guys,
Im currently organising a new basking structure for Chace.
Its a log that ive cut the top off which end up being about 10cm think.
Ill be attaching it to the corner of the enclosure with angle brackets.

Im thinking of creating a hide underneath it, and im just thinking is it possible to put some sort of bedding in there?

Just seems boring and unfair that he has to sleep on the substrate (which is newspaper) i know he probaly dosnt know any better, but i do lol

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas that i could use?

Straw? sand? blanket?

Any ideas would be great!

Cheers,

my 7 month old loves his blankies. (he is a lil spoiled...lol) old washcloths too, but i found he sometimes kinda gets his claws stuck on the loops of fabric or whatever. so i bought him baby recieving blankets and he love them! sometimes he gets restless right before bedtime, so i get him out and wrap him up in his blanket and goes right to sleep( he's a cuddler). then i just put him, blanket and all back in the cage. he sometimes just chills on his blanket during the day too.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
