beardy trouble eating/seeing?

hi all, a bit concerned about my beardy.
lately when he eats his food, live and greens, he's missing by a good inch or two and gets really frustrated seeing as hes not catching anything. this was never a problem before. even his greens that dont generally hop around and try to escape, hes just hittin the bowl alot of the time.

any suggestions?

Hi,

I know next to nothing compare to most on this site, as I am a new beardie owner myself. I do remember reading about how certain UVB lights (the regular bulbs not the long bulbs I believe) can cause sight problems. If I were you I would search through the lighting posts and see if anything fits your situation. I'm sure more experienced people will weigh in with some good advice. Sending you and your little guy the good vibes.

my girl does this sometime also. I feed suppers worms she hits them 2 or 3 times befor she gets them in her mouth. she looks at them with one eye.

Sorry your beardie is having problems this will be a start:
What is you UBV light?
Are you using any supplements?

Are you feeding green leafy veggies? They contain Vit A. Diets high Animal protein can delete Vit A. Not saying give them Vit A cause over doing it can be VERY harmful. But The A does deal with their vision
