Hello wondering if anyone knows why my eggs aren't hatching.. They are on 90 days now they are huge but I have no signs that they are hatching yet. Isn't this a little long? I incubated them at 82 dgre and humidity at 70-80%. Anyone that can help plz.

Hi there....have you candled them ? They will probably hatch any day now, just be patient. My very first clutch I ever hatched [ over 20 years ago ] took right about 90 days. I was confused, thought it was way too long [ in general it takes 55-70 days ] so I cut one open + killed a fully formed beautiful baby . The rest began hatching the day after ! So if the eggs really ARE good they will be popping any day.

Thank you for the reply. I candles them at like 40 days and I could see them moving and the embryo was on top. They are dirty because I started them in coconut dirt and it stained them so I can't see nothing now but they are very big.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
