beardie urate hard and yellow. too much calcium?

hi everyone, i need some help.

so my beardie's urate is becoming very hard and slightly yellow. he poops normally, he's been very active and he eats daily. i always mist his greens before giving it to him and i bathe him once a week, so im positive he isnt dehydrated. the only other conclusion i can come to is that he's been getting too much calcium. the thing is i dont know where the problem is coming from. his daily diet consists of kale, dubia roaches, crickets, and grasshoppers. ive been trying to switch up his diet a bit to see if that would help with the calcium issue but so far im getting nowhere.

is there anything else i can do? any suggestions? i know going to a vet would be the best option but we dont have the money to go to one (and with the pandemic i dont know if there's any vets even open in my town). if there's any way you all can help, i'd really appreciate it! thanks for your time <3

we need Tracie or AHBD to address this issue --- can you tell us what your using for a UVB --- that fixture deals w/ the calcium issue --- is it a coil or a tube ? and where in the tank is it

i've been using a coil, and its on the far left of his tank, above his hide.

Please get rid of the coil ASAP--- they are inadequate for a UVB -- many health issues w/ them - you need a 24" fixture w/ reflector for a 40 + gallon tank -- you will need a Reptisun 10.0 bulb 22" it comes w/a 5.0 bulb which is perfect for 20 gallon tanks - I would look on Amazon and find the fixture and bulb my go to places are all sold out

Are you dusting his food at all with calcium or multi vitamins?

How often is he pooing, and when did he last poo before this hard urate?

Is he a good salad eater?
