Beardie SIZE!

I measured my beardie today, he came in at 18.5" ! I didn't get a weight on him because the batteries died in the scale, but last month he was 264g so I imagine he is close to 300g by now. He is only 7 months old I think, do you think his age in relation to his size is okay? At 7 months old..is he still a juvie or could he be considered a sub-adult? The lady I got him from told me he was born Sept27/09 and he was already 10" when I got him in Dec/09 so maybe he is just one of the bigger ones? His parents weren't german giant as far as I know....

How about your beardies? What are their measurements?

All Beardies differ in size but yours seems to be growing normal, I have Zoom(male) almost 8 months 19 inches and 360 grams (my vet said he is a little over conditioned lol) and Breena(female) 4 months old 14 inches and 215 grams. Keep up the great work!

Yours sounds to be growing and gaining weight at a good rate.
My only boy Cinder is 5 1/2 inches long, weighs 6.3 grams and is about 2 months old, but I think he is a bit younger. He is teeny tiny compared to your monster!

I miss having a tiny beardie baby around! Haha I got to weigh my guy the other day and he is 345g!! He is getting so big and fat haha.
When I got him he was 10'' and 60g back in dec 09.. My has he grown!!

is mine okay then because he is going to be 5 months this month and two weeks ago he was 9 inches that seems a bit small compared to the rest of the beardies

I've got a big guy too - Rex is just over 10 months old - 21 1/2 inches long and weighs right at 600 grams. He's been addicted to superworms lately and is getting a bit fat. I am putting him back on a cricket diet, which he does not like at all!

I could look back at my records and see what his stats were at 7 months - they are on my computer at school.

titan will be a year old in june. He is 20 inches and 507 grams.
DJ will be a year old on the 21st of this month He is 20 inches and 498 grams
Pumkin is only 17 inches long but she is 475 grams same hatch date as DJ
