Beardie road trips?

Has anyone ever taken their beardie on a road trip? I want to go visit fam, abt 5 hours away, for a week and I was thinking about just throwing the tank in the car. All of the decorations are secured and I could take her out for sun when we make pit stops.. But obviously the car won't be the 90-100° she is used to. I put her in a box on shorter trips but I've never had her in the car for very long amounts of time before.
Has anyone done this? Suggestions?

Hi there....beardies can travel very well at room temp, so no need to worry. Just get a small gym type bag or a large shoe box, put a thick wad of newspaper down [ in case he needs to poo ] and add some shredded paper. Beardies get shipped in the winter with styro lined boxes + a heat pack and the temp. in the box can drop to 60 for hours but the beardies are fine. So your dragon will be comfy at 70 -75 in the car.
