Beardie not eating!!

I posted this elsewhere but received no responses so I am gonna re post it here:
Hi everyone I’m a little concerned about my beardie. He’s about 5/6 months old and he is doesn’t seem to have any insterest in live feeders. He won’t eat insects during his morning feeding but he will eat some collard greens and a little bit of squash. At his evening feeding he will eat 5 Dubia Roaches Max. I’m not sure what to do. He’s gone from about 134 grams to now about 129 grams.

Hello,

We would be happy to review your tank setup with you to be sure everything is all correct, if
you need.
They do go through eating phases in which they change their preferences somewhat. He is at or
around that age, which seems to be 6 months or so that they change. Have you tried offering
different insects or greens for him?
Please post some pictures of your dragon, along with the tank setup just so we can see his full
condition & living area.

Thanks for your reply! I haven’t tried offering him any new insects because I’m on a tight budget until I get paid. He does seem to eat any greens or fruit I give him. When I get some more income I will gladly try some new bugs for him.
This is a pic of his setup

His temps are 78-85 in the cool side around 90-95 in the warm side and basking rock has a few different spots ranging from 104-112. He also has a reptisun 10.0 uvb, and heat lamps.

Sorry for the delay! He looks good overall.
Has his appetite picked up any yet for you?
I would recommend mounting his Reptisun 10 tube, directly overhead instead of on the back
wall. The UVB refracts out & away from him so mounting overhead will help the UVB reflect
down onto him more efficiently.
Then be sure to mount it directly alongside the basking light for him to create a Heat+UVB
area.
Overall, he looks alert in the pictures though!

Thanks for your reply! His eating has definitely picked up. He’s back to eating about 30 roaches a day and has gained 8 grams
