Beardie not eating that much anymore

Hi, ive had my beardie for around 9 months now, hes a male and is around 16" long. Im just wondering why he is not eating as much as before. A few months ago, he eats around 10 dubias a day but now he eats like 1-2 every 2 days. Is there anything I can do to make him eat alot again?

What kind of UVB light are you using and how old is the bulb?

Im using the Arcadia UVB 12.0, the longest one. I just bought it a few days ago but Chimi still doesn't eat that much

It is totally normal for them to start slowing down on their eating right around the age you are describing. Both mine have done it, and I have done research and contacted my breeders to find out it is totally normal for them to do this... so don't worry about it.

Alright.. Im just used to see my beardie eat alot of dubias months ago. Im thinking now how he will grow bigger (hopefully upto 20") if he would only eat 1-2 dubias every 2 days. Also, he doesnt eat veggies any more either, sigh. He's just 16" inches now and 9 months old, I really want him to grow bigger and fatter

Same here. I'm trying to feed her a little more than usual, but she just refuses and ignores it...and gives me the stink eye.
