Beardie not eating or pooping

Justin just messaged me on fb saying Kadaj the past day or two has not been eating very much if any or pooping. Before I left for my mom's house, he was eating good and pooping fine(2x/day). I changed his cage setup before I left. The basking hidey, food and water dishes are the same. But I changed the kind of substrate to terrarium paper(green paper with green sand glued on it, BUT I covered it up with Bamboo mats to make sure he didn't come in contact with it. Then I put a pet hidey thing in there that looks like a log, sterilized some more rocks and put in there too along with a fake plant. Afraid the crickets would find too many hiding places, I started feeding him in another area. I also got him started to eating tiny pieces of fruits and salad from my hand. Justin has been keeping up the feeding and poop patrol routine along with nightly baths(plus he soaks in his water dish). The tank was moved from my bedroom to the front of the house due to a huge rain causing water to come into my room and closet(Landlord has been called to get water out and fix problem) Hopefully tomorrow Justin can bring Kadaj and Moon up here with me while the basement is being fixed.

I'm sorry to hear Kadaj hasn't been eating or pooping. You haven't him that long and with the changes he could be a little stressed. You could give him some baby food (squash and a little bit of chicken) with a syringe or just put little drops on his nose. Is he still active? Does he have stress marks on him?

Sorry for the delay in reply. I had to wait till Justin's class was over to ask.
Justin said his activity levels are somewhat normal. Yes, there does appear to be black stress marks on his belly. Normally when I am at home and seen the black stress marks, I would pick him up, hold him on my chest and give him kisses. The stress marks would disappear in seconds. Could he possibly be upset because I am not at home? I have been gone like 3 days. Thank you for the suggestion of baby food! Though where would one get a syringe like that? Would a dropper work if I couldn't get one?

Edit: Justin said he wasn't really active like when I left the house.

This is Justin. I just thought I'd give a little update on Kadaj. He seems to be fine, but it's obvious he gets lonely very often. I picked him up just a minute ago and saw he had stress marks so I decided to take him out of his cage. He is now chillaxin' on top of my head, but before that I had him on my hand and I noticed his stress marks had disappeared. I'm still a little concerned about him eating, but I do honestly believe it is due to the other parent (Holly) not being present. He seems much calmer when she's around and more willing to eat anything even when I feed him his greens and fruit.

We will keep the post up to date to see if his condition improves when Justin can bring him up here to my mom's house. I always get worried when a reptile will not eat or poop right ~ Holly

Update: We got Kadaj in his smaller travel tank. He has been acting unusual here and at home. He acts all stressed out in his tank until someone takes him out. He also appears to have lost a little weight and has a patch getting ready to shed. I wonder if this is also part why his eating and pooping hasn't been normal? Before putting him in, I made him eat a few nips of salad by opening his mouth and putting them in there. He behaved and ate then. Also as soon as I got him in the tank, I misted him down with a spray bottle which he seemed to like, appeared to be squatting and straining and passed a small something. It looked like a little whitish urate with something clear and yellow. Justin thinks its mango, but I don't know I am worried. Also there was no brown turd like there usually is. Update: I have seen maybe a small piece of turd since hes refused to eat. Mostly he passes urates and seems to strain. Also, there are tiny specks of blood in the urates. Someone please help!
