BEARDIE NOT EATING HELP!

Ok so I started my dragon on superworms about 2 weeks or so ago... he was doing just fine and then one day stopped. We got him crickets on day and he ate a few and got his some 2 days ago too. I’m getting worried because it’s been almost a week. He is about 6-8 months and we are not certain how old he is. Please help! He’s not sluggish or thin or anything. Could he be shedding? He loves to be by the window and sit on my alo Vera plant and watch the pool and trees move. I love this little guy and would be heartbroken to know he didn’t make it from lack of food. Please help!

Do you see grey bits of skin coming off? Sometimes, shedding can cause dragons to act grumpy or not hungry. Has he been pooping consistently before or soon after he stopped eating? It's best to stay away from supers at his age. Some dragons, whether they're older juveniles or adults, still have a harder time digesting supers and mealies compared to others. If he isn't pooping, he could be impacted and you might want to give him something like pumpkin puree or unsweetened applesauce and to stay away from solids for now. And, if the super was longer than the space between his eyes, just in case, you might want to alleviate pressure on the back by allowing your dragon's belly to hang through a towel with a cutout for the stomach to rest through it. Too much pressure can cause temporary paralysis.

I don’t see any shed... he shed his belly march 11 and shed his top lip the 21 of March. There is a chance of the worm being longer than his eye space but I don’t think so because he really bits the thing is half and more. We may go get more crickets today.

Does he look like he may be getting ready for a shed(gray areas around the body)?
