beardie loves my hands .... normal??

Im new and just got my beardie for 3 days now. He's 8 inches so he's not really a baby anymore. The first day with me he was already eating. He really loves to be picked up and hangs out with me a lot. When I try to put him in the tank he turns around and claws back to my hand. Is this normal? I always hear people's dragons jumping and running away from their hands! Maybe I got a really ggood dragon. Anybody else experienced this?

My little one does the grabbing the hand when its bedtime and he has fallen asleep on my hand, its kind of a fight with him, but if I let he get into a deep sleep its not bad, once in a while I put him back on my hand and let him sleep a little more before putting him in his tank.

my baby did that too for the first couple weeks i had her. shes getting a lot more independant and adventurous now though...shes still likes me lots though...she knows who brings her food

HAHA that is cute!!! My big guy will do that and grab onto whatever he can to avoid going back to his viv if he's not ready!! Including trying to grab the top and the lights.

That is soooo cute ha ha. I loooooove the personality of these guys!!!
I've already gotten my brother, gf and gf's brother interested in getting one! haha

i've had my beardie, Archer, about 3 weeks now and have noticed the same thing (he's also about 8 inches). about an hour after he's eaten he glass dances until i approach his tank, and then lets me pick him up. he'll either run or chill out on me, and if i try to put him back, even when he feels cold and clearly should go back, he tries to climb up my wrist. i sometimes have to peel him off my hand lol.

we have one that is 20 inchs long a year old and still wont go to sleep unless you cuddle with him my daughter has totaly spoiled the little fart lol
