Beardie looking paler than usual

Today I noticed that the orange stripes on my 2 month old beardie's back aren't as vibrant as they usually are. He is eating fine and his temp and humidity are fine. He's become more active than usual. Could he be possibly getting ready to shed? My boyfriend's cornsnake always turns pale just before shedding.

Absolutely. They become much paler before they are about to shed the area. You guys can just give him baths more frequently to help him out
