I have a 6-7m/o male bearded dragon.

The past week he's been hiding under his wooded log.

As soon as I take him out he will run back and sit there.

He's still a beautiful white colour. He's definatly not stressed. He's still eating and pooping.

UV lights are all correct and the temps are 80-100. He's on carpet.

Not sure what to do with him. He won't bask without being forced. He's generally cool and not warm. Is there anything I can do?

Thanks.

Hi. You're right, a beardie that is only 6 to 7 mo old. How is his appetite?

Sounds like the temps are off. I know you said the hot side is 100 but what is the actual basking SURFACE temp and what type of thermometer are you using?

Also, what brand & type is the UVB, how old is that particular bulb & what is the distance of it when your beardie is in the basking spot?
