Hi
I`m hoping to get my first Beardie in about 6/8 weeks time, but doing as much research on them as I can as I`d prefer to know what I`m doing before and not just get one then learn as you go. One question I haven`t seen on this awesome forum is, do you have to take your Beardie for any booster jabs or any jabs while they`re young? Or at any age? Hope this isn`t a silly question just want to learn as much as possible. :study:

Any advice very much appreciated.

Please don't use wood chips or ANY loose substrate. You want solid substrates like repticarpet, paper towel, newspaper, tile, or NONADHESIVE shelf liner!

Well it harbors bacteria which can be very dangerous (even if you clean it often), but also it can be ingested and in some cases can cause an impaction which can be fatal. This is esp true with calcium sand. I would REALLY recommend taking it out and putting in a solid substrate.

I prefer paper towels, but I know some people do use newspaper. I think paper towels are more comfy for them and very easy for me to clean.
