Even though he is eating the phoenix worms, he will still need some other calcium supplementation simply due to him growing. I would still supplement several times per week, or up to 5. It depends on how many phoenix worms he actually is eating.
As suggested, monitoring the color & hardness of the urates is a very good way to monitor the calcium intake.

It was an ear infection most likely then? Which meds did he give you for that?
At least he did eat a couple of worms. If he was having trouble with his aim, the infection can cause balance issues too.
Just be sure to keep him well hydrated, along with getting him the vitamins & calcium regularly, too.
