Hey guys,
I'm really hoping someone here has some advice because I can't seem to find any information on the web to help me out. My male beardie Jenny (ik he has a girl name..we don't talk about that LOL  ) went into brumation in July. Kept to the coolest spot in his tank, slept all day, and didn't eat. From what I've read this is normal for a 1 year old dragon (turned 1 in August). He continued this behavior, waking up to bask and take a bite to eat maybe once every week or two, until the end of September.

Prior to brumation, he was an eating MACHINE. Was never enthusiastic about greens, but would plow through as many worms as I was willing to give him. However, now even though he basks daily he barely eats...maybe 1 or 2 worms a day and a piece or two of greens. He hasn't lost any weight, his fat pads are still plump, and he is alert and active. Honestly, his small appetite wouldn't even worry me that much if it wasn't for that he only poops about once a week (sometimes less), which seems like a clear sign that he isn't getting enough in his belly. I'll list his tank stats and some pictures below, does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong/ whats going on? He's my first beardie and I knew he wouldn't keep eating quite so much once he stopped growing...but I really think he's just not eating enough currently.
Basking spot: 106-108
Cool spot: 74
UVB: zoomed reptisun 10.0 t5-h0 39W
cage: converted/ insulated Ferret Nation (sounds weird but actually works well and gives him tons of space)
Feeding: super worms & primarily kale with occasional bell pepper or rarely strawberry

I think you're seeing him transition to an adult metabolism. He looks big and healthy based on those photos. It's good that his weight is stable and he is active. I think he's OK. Your setup sounds good. I'd try focusing on offering a wide variety of veges as his primary diet. Offer bugs only once or twice per week but offer a salad daily. This list has some good ideas about what to offer http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html. I usually just rotate based on what looks fresh at the store. I've had good luck with chopped green beans, bell pepper, collard greens, turnip greens, dandelion greens, bok choy, and all kinds of squash. I've found it helpful to cut the squash into worm shapes. It sometimes helps to hand feed veges as well.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
