Beardie growth rate

I have had my beardie since Christmas and he was around 5 inches then, now he is 8 inches exactly. I'm just curious if 3 inches in two months is good or not. I know there are a lot of different attributes to how they grow, I'm just curious how your beardies grew.

I've been doing a lot of reading on just this topic for the last day or so because I have an 11" beardie and I am being told he's a tad over a year old. Many have told me he's undersized by about 7" give or take. I'm looking forward to some answers on this question. SOOOO

my Jericho just turned 5 months old and he is 15 inches. I have been wondering the same. I have heard on average 2 inches a month . We got Jericho on 12/13/11 at 8 inches longs . Three months and 10 days later he has grown 7 inches so i guess that fits the average.

MY GOD! Toothless is over a year old and only 11". I have only had him a few days but I hop their isn't any permanent damage from the husbandry he received before me.

We got Zelda mid November at 4-6 weeks old and almost 5" and now she is almost 15" so approx. 10" in 3 months?

10 inches in 3 months???? Oh man, i must be doing something wrong.

I have also heard that 2" a month is normal.

I wouldn't be too worried if I were you, but I'd look at what I was feeding just to be safe.

My beardie has been a picky eater lately. So it's hard, i can never get him to eat salads, and sometimes he won't eat his crickets. Drives me nuts.

Just for reference and i think jericho may be a piggy but he eats on average 65-90 crickets a day and about 20 phoenix worms. That's controlled eating.He used to eat alot more

Kratos was eating about 20-30 a day. That's not the case anymore, today he at 2... which is odd for him because he is usually a good eater.

Just keep in mind that beardies (like people) grow at different rates. Just make sure you are providing adequate UVA and UVB, temps and vitamins (calcium!!) to ensure proper growth. 11' at 1 year?? Holy cow, that's really small :?

I know when I got Roku, he was 8in, after two months he was pushing 10-12in, now at 11 months he's 21in.

I wish I knew how old my beardies are! Buliwyf was sold to me as a juvie, 77-78 grams, I'll have to look at his card. I believe Craig said he was around 4-5 months old. That was on December 10th of last year. He is now a little over 200 grams!!! I will have to weigh him again later. Saphira was sold to me as a sub adult. She was about 207 grams on January 12th when I got her. I believe he said she was around 8 months old but will have to check her card. She is now a little over 240 grams I believe. I will weigh her too later.
