Hey guys i recently gotten a bearded dragon from my friend who was moving away and she couldnt take her beardie with her. So i gladly took him in. So anyways i had him for about 2 months now and i just noticed something strange with one of his eye. One seems to be a little swollen and when he opens his eye it seems like theres goop or its kinda fogy. I think it could be an eye infection but i could be wrong. My friend gave me his whole set up. but the thing is that he has sand as his terrain so im guessing he might of got some bacteria in his eye. He still is his normal self he is still eatting as usual and his other eye is normal. i read online that it could be from vitamin deficiency but im not sure. if so what can i do to give him the vitamin that he needs. I am very worried and i dont know really what to do.

That's not too bad, get some plain saline to flush it out a bit. [ Keep the bottle room temp. so it's not as much of a shock ] Then you can use raw unpasteurized honey , it's a natural antimicrobial I've used in my own dragon's eye that cured it in days. Just mix the honey with a bit of warm water + an eyedropper to drop it in. Be sure there are no loose insects [ crickets hide during day + come out at night , so check under everything ]

If you prefer, you can also use Terramycin opthalmic drops. IMO, raw honey is the best though.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
