Beardie cam?

Haha so I decided I want to get two cameras I can monitor from my phone, one for Quinn and one for Athena. Just to put my mind at ease while I'm out and about and can't watch them. A baby cam sorta thing, but for my scaley babies.
Doesn't anybody have a "beardie cam" for their beardies or other pets? If so, any suggestions on brands and such?

I have one. It's a Foscam. Older model but I had it around. It requires some manual configuration which I'm comfortable with. Most of the models available in stores now are designed to work with smart phones and minimal fuss so I'd look for features you want (wired vs wireless, size, resolution, etc) and pick one within your budget. It's certainly nice to have when you're away.

Yep I'm constantly wanting to check in on my beardies when I'm out so I figured a camera would help ease my mind haha.

Got it set up inside their viv, mounted to the underside of the screen lid, next to where I have their UVB mounted. I feel like getting the app and everything set up was a bit of a pain, but now that I have it set up the way I want, I really like it. And you CANNOT beat the price for a 1080p camera with remote pan/tilt! The night vision works really well too. You will need a separate Micro SD card if you want to do any recording, rather than just a live feed. I got a 32 Gig card from Walmart for $13.

If you end up getting it and have any trouble with the set-up, let me know. I will be happy to share what I learned.

Here are a couple stills from a video it took yesterday of one my my SUPER elusive skinks! This was only 720p, I don't usually have it set to 1080p for recording, just when I am viewing in real time.

That shows much higher quality with better color than mine has. Seems like quite a good deal for the price.
