I bet. I saw one of the Dirty Jobs episodes that took place on a kangaroo farm and this girl who worked there was scraped/scratched in the face by a baby kangaroo and she was scarred pretty badly. They have these really long, thick claws. You really don't want to scar easily and work with baby roos. :?

At first I was all, AWWW look at the little bitty :love5: ....OMG they have CLAWS.

Actually, I've worked on farms and with a lot of different animals in my time. I've been most unexpectedly injured by goats. LOL I used to have to milk a very hard-headed (literally) goat that I just couldn't control. Her head was harder than a rock.

It was always very unpleasant to be walking through the main barn and have Annie Goat run smack into your thigh bone. When she was little, people used to run and play with her. Well, when she got big it was more like run AWAY from her.

i use tweezers to feed supers to my guy. he bites the tongs out of excitement, so i certainly wouldn't want to put my fingers near him!

he accidentally bit me once when i was feeding him (when he was still young), he didn't draw blood but he looked SOOO upset! he got low and stared at me with sad eyes.

now with my smaller female... she 'accidentally' nips my fingers and looks like it's my fault she missed the food.

now i never thought biting would hurt bad because i had an iguana before, and he bit me on several occasions (NEVER touch their strawberries!!!). then i realized the big difference was that bearded dragons had teeth.

It's not just the teeth...beardies have very powerful jaws. I'm betting our Chief could eat glass. My finger is pretty useless at work today. Grrrr

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
