Beardie bent toe

My bearded dragon is about a year and a half old and I just noticed one of his toes is bent at an awkward angle and just lays sideways and useless when he runs around. Is this an old break I never noticed or something else?
I have no idea how to attach a picture.

Hello,

Sometimes they can have a toe grow crooked possibly, if it is broken & healed up wrong. Or maybe
he lacked calcium & it grew back crooked perhaps.

It doesn't seem to hamper his mobility at all and he doesn't seem bothered by it. I've had him since he was a tiny baby and he's grown to about 22 inches. I've not changed anything in the way I care for him so I can't imagine it's a calcium problem. He does act crazy sometimes when he gets excited (jumping down from very high places) so it could have broken.

Hi,
Its very possible from jumping around could of landed wrong. I know my beardie has his crooked toe from a baby but doesn't seem bothered or hurts. If it does become an issue with your beardies toe than i would go to a qualified exotic vet to evaluate.

I noticed it Friday night and can't find any reptile vets open for non-emergencies until Monday so I'm calling Monday.

Oh I do see it! I think it does look like he may have broken the tip of it somehow. At least
it doesn't seem to be bothering him though.
If he is rambunctious in his tank, jumping around & everything then it's a good possibility of
an injury. The toe/foot looks greyish, like it is going to shed.
If you just noticed it then he probably just injured it recently.
They can do an x-ray on him to determine if the little area was broken.

Hi,
This has happened to my 1 and 1/2 year old beardie too. it doesn't seem to bother him except if I press on it or touch it he pulls away. We are trying to organise a vet appointment but it's very hard to find a specialist near Glasgow the nearest to us is two buses and a train away roughly totalling to two hours of travelling and I don't know if that would be more stress than living with a crooked toe until we can get better transport.
My only worry is he's climbing less and I'm not sure if this is pain or if he's just having a lazy few days which he does get sometimes but very rarely he's usually super active ?
Did you manage to find any useful info to help your beardies toe?

I brought him to the vet and she said it appeared to be trauma-related. He was perfectly healthy otherwise. It's not giving him any mobility issues. He's a bit wild and will climb and jump from too high so he probably hurt himself that way.
