Hello,

How old is your dragon? How long have you had him?
If can become an issue if he is hiding too much, as if he wont eat & is young, he wont be healthy due to losing weight from not eating.
What I need from you please is your setup such as your type & brand of UVB lighting. What type & brand is it, is it a flourescent tube bulb or a compact or coil light? What type of basking light are you using? Is it a bright white basking light or a colored light?
What do you measure the temps with, a stick on thermometer, a digital probe or a temp gun? What are the temps?
Do you supplement calcium on a regular basis?
Young small dragons should not be hiding though, normally only the older ones will brumate.

Hello,

Thanks for answering the questions.
He probably does not like the UVB light, I hate to say. Or, the red light. :(
The Reptiglo 10 tube light has low wavelength frequency of UVB which is very hard on their eyes & it is not very favorable for D3 synthesis, either which over time, they can develop calcium problems.
I highly suggest getting a Reptisun 10 flourescent tube bulb. You can get it for a very good price from:
http://www.petmountain.com

Also, using a red light for basking is not bright enough & doesn't allow the pupil to constrict in order to protect the eyes from any UVB source. So, I recommend getting a bright white light such as a halogen bulb. They are much more active with bright white light.

The stick on thermometers are not very accurate, they can sometimes be off by as much as 20 degrees. So, the kind of thermometer that you need is either a digital probe or a temp gun. The temperatures are very important to the overall health & well being of your dragon.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
