Beardie acting strange, weird poop

HI. My beardie is 6 inches and has seemed very healthy since we've had him, for about 5 weeks or so. However, today, he just started acting weird. First of all, every now and then, he shakes his back legs. I have not seen him do this once until today, not ONCE. Second, he hasn't eaten at all today. And, third, his poop has a little clearish-yellow bubble thing in it where the white would be. I haven't noticed this before, and I'm very concerned he might be sick, but he has seemed fine besides that. His colors are great, and he's still active, aside from not eating. Please tell me what these could be signs of. Thanks so much, mafu7

Well, he hasn't done the leg thing since this morning, I only saw it once or twice, so maybe it was just a fluke? I'm gonna cut back on his dusting, been giving him dragon dust at every feeding, now I know that is NOT good. I'm gonna have my dad get me a new mvb-the exo-terra one, on his way home from work sometime this week. I am not liking how the powersun is working for me. It just doesn't seem to work very good. Also, since the dragon dust has calcium and multivitamin, and is phosphorus free, how often should I dust with it? I have Dragon Dust, Tetra calcium dust, and Tetra multivitamin. Thanks

The powersun doesn't give off much UVB rays. The shaking legs could be due t calcium defenciy or mbd.

Ok well, is the Exo terra one better? Let me know. I've heard it's really good. I am almost 100 percent sure he doesn't have mbd. And he can't have calcium deficiency, cuz I think I give him too much calcium. Could it be due to calcium overdose? Like I said, he hasn't done it for 12 hours, and he only did it once or twice, now he seems fine. It wasn't a very violent shake, like a seizure, but more like when your foot falls asleep and shakes, if you know what I mean. Could that be it? Can their legs fall asleep? Again, I want to know if the exo terra is much better than the powersun. Thanks

Exo terra...NO..that one is horrible, has caused many health problems and even fatal. (If we are talking about the same one) You need to get a Megaray or a T-Rex

My neighbor pays me $50.00 to shovel his driveway 5 times (I'm only 14, so I can't get a real job yet). He is out of town often, but next time I see him I'm gonna let him know he owes me. When he pays me, I'm gonna order the mega-ray. When I'm in high school, I want to work at my local pet store. I'll probably be known as the guy who gives correct advice LOL.

That's good he's not doing the leg thing, maybe he was doing it because of the bad uvb output the powersun gives off. Tell that man he owes you and get that megaray, you'll be very satisfied and so will your dragon. I like the pet sellsman that give the CORRECT advice.

Ok well how good is the T-Rex bulb? Cuz I'm going to a reptile conventon on the 22nd so I'll probably find it cheap, and if it's good enough, I'll get it, might save me $20.00 who knows. If not, I'll order it The (Megaray) when I get home from the convention.

The T-Rex and Megaray are both exceptional MVB's. You should be able to find the T-Rex at the convention but it will probably still cost about $50.00, that's what I paid for mine there but it is well worth the price.

Just to make sure, you do have at least a 40 gallon tank, right? Since both those bulbs throw out a lot of heat and ultra violet rays, you have to make sure that your tank isn't too small to safely use one. It's also a must to have either a temperature gun or a digital thermometer with a long wire & probe end so that you get accurate temp readings.

Yes, I have a 40 breeder. I'm gonna look at the convention, maybe I'll find it cheaper who knows. The Megaray is 50 with shipping anyways, and it's on backorder all the time.
