I kinda want to get an iguana just so they can see the difference. But I don't have an extra room to put one in. I know how big they get!keschete":3k6dwbts said:I take Diablo and Ash to MANY childrens programs. I do schools, Boy Scouts, Summer School programs. My dragons are really big. Diablo is 800 grams and almost 2 feet. He can handle being out for a few hours with no problems. We have even been out in winter. I take them in small dog crates with blankets.
My two guys are used to the neighbor kids and they are great. I also have a Frilled Dragon that I bring on occaision and I also printed some color pages and fact sheets for the lizards that I found online and I give out these handouts.
I find the kids are all excited and love the presentations. It is only the adults who think they are iguanas......I tell them Iguanas are not orange or white.....
