Bearded dragons head turning white

I think I’m just worrying over nothing, as the majority of the Internet is claiming he is just shedding.

However, this has been happening for a couple of weeks now, and I can’t remember him having this “issue” when shedding before.

His head (up to his neck) is whitish/grayish in color.

But he is somehow able to go back to normal color?

Edit: I would say he is around 8’ish months old, around 30cm long. He lives in a proper vivarium with the correct lighting, food, water ect ect.. I haven’t seen him down at all, he seems fine.
Should I be worried?

That`s the photo i saw while posting this... Pretty much the same. It`s normal to take a couple of weeks i`m guessing?
