Bearded Dragons and nail polish?

I painted my nails yesterday and today I was trying to feed my beardie and he mistook my nail as food and bit my finger. He scraped off some of the nail polish with his teeth (which i'm assuming he swallowed) and it also drew blood. I'm really worried.. will the nail polish harm him?

The kind most humans use have some pretty harsh chemicals when wet. However, usually once it's dried up it's not as toxic so your baby should be just fine.

Depending on the amount scraped off, he'll likely be fine as mentioned. Most breeders will use nail polish dots to mark their clutches, though of course this is not being digested.

It would be a good idea to keep some activated charcoal on hand in case of any emergency. I would just monitor him and maybe provide some additional fluids to help flush anything out of his system.
