Hello, I am very worried about my bearded dragon Lenny. She is a female and in the beginning of November she will be 2 years old. For a few days now she has been running around and basking with half her tail black and her beard black. Though the rest of her is very light colored.
Also for weeks now her feces has been not solid. It’s been liquidated and dark colored. The white of her feces is slightly tainted red. I rarely give her red things because she doesn’t eat them. Though I occasionally give her blueberrys but this happens even without blueberries.
I have moved a little over a month ago and the red feces started a little before that. I understand the first week or two of moving she’d be stressed and her feces would be different but it’s been over a month. I’d say about 2-3 months ago she had a fecal test done and she was fine.
Her food is commonly: yellow squash, Bok choy, zucchini, occasionally blueberries, snap peas, sometimes green beans, and recently added turnip/collard greens. She’s been eating a little more the last few days but I did add the greens. I give her 3 dried crickets with her meal everyday.
I have slightly changed her house. I added her hamock and moved her things around. She has a day lamp but no night lamp. Her house is 4ft long, 1ft 11inch deep, and just under 2ft tall. She’s about 1foot away from her lamp. (A ramp is being build she she can get closer). She has a big hide and plenty and room to move. I usually take her outside in the afternoon and provide shade. I usually walk her (as in I walk and she’s on my shoulder) in the afternoon as well. She usually gets a bath once a week, sometimes sooner.
Sorry this is a lot, I wanted to cover as much as possible. I don’t know her light bulb though. I only know it’s a repti bulb. Thank you so much for helping! (I also don’t know how to post pictures)
