Bearded Dragon wants to eat baby

Hey, I've had a bearded dragon female in great health for 9 months I decided to get another female. I was scared that Rusty would eat her cause she's only a juvie and Rusty is an adult so I put the newbie in a 10 gallon seperate from my adult. The glasses were left touching.

this morning I woke up to Rusty trying to break into the little tank to eat my baby. Will Rusty stop once the baby gets her size?

No. They are solitary creatures. In the wild they only come together for mating. It is rare that 2 can ever be housed together without fighting or domination. Keep them apart.

Once baby gets bigger, I imagine so, but as a previous poster said, they may never get along. You might want to put some cardboard or paper on the side of one of the tanks so they can't see each other. I imagine the nearby wanna-be predator is causing baby a lot of stress.

Yeah, I propped up a folder cause I don't want to stress the new girlie. I just hope I don't have to worry about it forever. I would like to let them roam around from time to time together.

More likely than not, you won't be able to let them out together. It will either stress her out, or he will try to breed with her once older. It's just not a feasible thing.

Misread then, sorry. Still don't think it is a smart thing to do. Especially if older dragon is this aggressive towards new dragon, could very well carry on to adulthood. Being both are female, you might have a chance, but personally, I would never risk it.

I don't see it as aggression. She has met a similar sized female before that she didn't seem to mind.
I just think she is seeing this tiny dragon as food.

The reason I don't think this as aggressive behavior is because Rusty was not aggressive with a similar sized female (My friend came over with hers) and she does not puff her beard at the baby, Instead charges as if seeing a cricket. It is like predatory behavior.

In the wild they only come together to breed. Then they go their separate ways the females lay and then ditch the babies. Rusty has been head honcho since you got her, her cage is HER'S and she is NOT going to share it. If you had gotten 2 females Rusty and another one it may have worked out. Since what you have now is a juvi baby and Rusty is adult your going to have to buy a bigger cage so it is just best to keep them separate. I have the most tiny room and I have a 50 and 40 gallon lining one wall and i had to cram my dresser in there. So it can be done. I have a little walk way from my door to my bed and thats it. Rusty will also just stress out the new guy and he can stop eating and if stressed enough pass away.

Again, you are missing the point.
Rusty has never been aggressive to other dragons.
My good friend came over with her similar sized female and they did great.
I know Rusty.
What I want to know is f she'll stop trying to litterally hunt deja and CONSUME her

There is no real way to know for sure. I still think you should not put them together. If you want to see what will happen put them in the bathtub with no water so they cant get traction and have to work to get anywhere if Rusty tries to kill Deja still and I mean wait a but until Deja is bigger, then she most likely wont. Are you sure they are female? Maybe Rusty is a male and maybe Deja is too, males are VERY territorial with other males.

Rusty is a positive female and so is Deja, that is a great tip with the bath tub, i'll try it in a few months.
It doesn't look anything like aggression or territorialism because she isn't puffing or showing her beard. It is more like she just saw a huge cricket and was all "HOLY YES!"

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
