Bearded Dragon Survey 2013

Here we go, just a very quick snapshot from some of the data collected so far from the survey, hope it's interesting

We're at 448 responses so far (as of today), so it's going well - should be on track to get 1,000+ by end of the year.

@dragongirl95 and @ILoveLemmonade I'll add those options in, thanks for the feedback.

Wow it's very alarming to know how many beardies are missing essential parts of their setup. It's even more alarming that it is posters of this forum that filled out that survey.

Oh I posted this survey all over the place, so this isn't just from people on this forum. I don't keep track of responses based on referers etc... Also this data is based on a very small sample of ~450, I'm hoping the more responses I get, the less alarming things will be

I didn't add in the beardies from 1 year or younger as those results really skew it negatively e.g. someone thinks it's cool keeping a beardie in a 2ft enclosure!

Can you add Superworms/Megaworms to the feeder list? All I saw were mealworms, which you shouldn't feed period. But it was the closest to Superworms, so I picked it anyways.

For the survey, frequency in what's being fed is the most interest to me and seeing if it links to health problems.

All I saw were mealworms, which you shouldn't feed period.

If possible, could you pm me the info please on not feeding mealworms at all, as my understanding has been that Mealworms generally are ok as a treat in moderation, same as Superworms and waxworms, all not to be fed to babies.

All I can find is conflicting anecdotal reports online (part of the reason for doing surveys ) and all of the books I have list mealworms as part of their diet. Anything I can cite and update my own information from is much appreciated.
