Bearded Dragon Lost ALOT of weight during shed

My bearded dragon got through its first shed but its REALLY skinny compared to how it was... I'm REALLY CONCERNED. I think it was due to a cricket size upgrade... he enjoyed eating TONS of small crickets then we got him a bit bigger ones which still fit inbetween his eyes and He only eat like 1-4 daily I mist daily and bathe once every 2 days can anyone tell me if this was my fault or how to help him. gonna try smaller crickets in the meantime.

Hello,

He did lose some weight, but not terrible. Can you go back to the smaller crickets? He must view them as too big, perhaps.
Have you tried any other type of insects, like calcium/phoenix worms, or baby silkworms?
Does he eat any greens?
Most of the times, they do tend to lose their appetites to some extent, but since he has lost weight, you can try getting some chicken or turkey baby food, with sweet potato or squash baby food to help him out. Just use a plastic dropper or syringe to drop food onto the end of the nose.
His colors are very good also.
Which UVB light are you using currently?
