Bearded dragon lights

Hi, ive had a bearded dragon for a couple of months now. And she eats like a hog and her activity is really good. But almost every day. She has stress marks on her beard that wont go away. In the mornings her beard is white until lunch when it turns striped again and wont go away. Im using a Powersun mercury vapor bulb 100 watt. She lives in a 40 gallon tank. Are powersun bulbs good or what. Im starting to get stressed as well. Sometimes she will sit by her food bowl and wont move until after awhile. What is wrong?

Hello,

The Powersuns are pretty good. How close do you have it to her, is it resting on top of a screen top or inside of her tank?
Do you have a picture of her in her set up also?
What are the temperatures in the tank are you using a digital probe or a temp gun?

An analog thermometer. She usually basks with her beard puffed but not black. Its striped. She usually comes off her rock for a snack. Then she sits there by her food bowl for a while then goes back on her rock. When i take her out her beard turns white again.
